Daniela Coral Álava advises companies and organizations on administrative, regulatory, and environmental law matters, with an emphasis on energy and public law in Ecuador. She provides legal support for regulatory compliance and the management of proceedings before public entities.

In her practice, she participates in providing comprehensive legal advice to companies with significant investments in environmental matters and in sectors such as mining, oil, electricity, and non-renewable resources, including the regularization of administrative environmental authorizations and the management of the State-administrator relationship in ordinary and sanctioning            proceedings.

She has complemented her experience with work in the construction sector, supporting the drafting and review of contracts, bidding processes, and assistance in hearings and mediations. Additionally, she serves as a research associate at the USFQ Institute for Legal Research, focusing on environmental law, human rights, and constitutional law, participating in the drafting and editing of academic articles and a published jurisprudential commentary.
