Nataly Cano is a Legal Assistant at BUSTAMANTE FABARA and a lawyer from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and served as a Teaching Assistant for the courses Legal Transactions and Contracts. Her professional experience includes law firms, in-house legal teams, and the judicial sector, with work in arbitration, administrative law, litigation, competition, and compliance. During her university years, she was actively involved in academic and student initiatives. She was founder and president of the USFQ Moot Courts Club; Junior Editor and later Senior Editor of USFQ Legal Lab; a member of the board of the Argumentation, Public Speaking and Litigation Club (CLAD); and a member of the Jurisprudence Student Society from February 2025 to March 2026. She is also part of the team developing a Constitutional Court case law guide on arbitration and served as Coordination Assistant for USFQ’s Diploma Program on Competition in Telecommunications. She has complemented her academic training with courses offered by the Office of the Attorney General of the State, including “The Mediation Procedure and Its Advantages” and “Arbitration and Foreign Law: QuickIntro,” as well as additional training in arbitration, judicial ethics, and human rights.
