Belén has extensive experience in Corporate, Commercial, Banking, and Insurance Law. She particularly focuses her practice on advising on the registration of reinsurance companies, the implementation of insurance products in the country, compliance advisory for insurance companies and reinsurance agencies, drafting of insurance marketing contracts, and insurance litigation. She also has significant experience in advising auxiliary financial services companies and banking entities, as well as qualifying regulated services in the banking sector.

Before joining BUSTAMANTE FABARA, she was a Senior Associate at a prestigious law firm in Ecuador, where she was part of the Corporate and Banking & Insurance practice areas.

She also actively collaborates in advising companies from a corporate perspective on matters related to liquidation, dissolution of companies, domiciliation of foreign companies, advising on the registration of reinsurers, and the implementation of insurance products in the country.
