Belén has significant experience advising clients on corporate, commercial, banking and insurance law. Particularly she focuses her practice on advice on registration of reinsurance companies, implantation of insurance products in the country, compliance advice to insurance companies and reinsurance production companies, drafting of insurance banking contracts and insurance litigation. She has also gained significant experience advising auxiliary companies of the financial service systems and banking entities, qualification of regulated services in the banking sector.

Prior to joining BUSTAMANTE FABARA, she was an associate senior of a renowned firm in Ecuador where she focused on corporate, contractual and insurance areas.

She has also focused her practice on advising companies from a corporate perspective, with respect to liquidation, dissolution of companies, domiciliation of foreign companies, advice on registration of reinsurers, implementation of insurance products in the country.
