Daniela has extensive experience in Family Law, Criminal Law, Immigration Law, Labor Law, Litigation and Dispute Resolution. In recent years she has acquired important knowledge in the areas of: alimony, divorce, dissolution of marital partnership, conflict resolution, job dismissals, flagrant crimes, injuries, domestic violence, gender violence, deportation defense analysis, family petitions , U-VISAS (legal nonimmigrant status for people who have been victims of certain crimes), FOIA (is a law that allows anyone to request copies of federal government records, including Equal Employment Opportunity Commission), asylum issues, appeals, U.S. citizenship, U.S. residency, U.S. naturalization, and VAWA (lawful permanent resident under the Violence Against Women Act, if you are a victim of abuse or cruelty by a parent, spouse or former spouse, and children who are U.S. citizens).
Before joining BUSTAMANTE FABARA, she worked as a lawyer in a prestigious firm in Ecuador where she integrated the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law and Labor Law, entering briefs, litigating, initiating and following up on legal processes in the different judicial units and public entities.
Currently, Daniela focuses her practice within the firm on Corporate Law, with an emphasis on Insurance and has contributed to the team with her legal criteria in the preparation of all types of legal documents and has developed various activities such as formal written consultations, initiation and monitoring of procedures among others before public institutions of all types, such as notaries and controlling entities such as the Superintendencia de Compañías, Valores y Seguros.
