Francisco is a specialist in the areas of commercial, corporate and financial law. He has extensive experience in loan agreements, project finance, credit documents, structuring of security packages, management trusts, corporate matters, arbitration, international commercial and financial transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, he was General Counsel of the National Finance Corporation, a public sector financial institution. In addition, he served as a member of the board of directors of some private financial institutions.

Francisco has advised local and foreign financial institutions and multilateral entities in financing operations of public and private companies. In addition, he has been an arbitrator in the arbitration courts of the Quito Chamber of Commerce since 1992 and has written several articles for specialized magazines on foreign loan operations and national and international arbitration.
