On October 2, 2026, the Organic Law on Civil Aviation (“the Law”) was published in the Sixth Supplement to Official Gazette No. 382. This Law unifies the legal framework applicable to civil aeronautical and airport activities in Ecuador, and repeals both the Aeronautical Code and the previous Civil Aviation Law.
