Esteban has more than 10 years of experience in Competition Law and over 5 years of experience in Personal Data Protection.

He currently leads the Personal Data Protection practice at BUSTAMANTE FABARA.

Esteban focuses his practice on providing comprehensive and specialized advice on personal data protection matters, developing sophisticated due diligence processes, compliance programs, and risk mitigation strategies.

He also advises on Competition and Antitrust Law matters. His experience includes representing clients in complex administrative proceedings before the Ecuadorian competition authority involving unfair competition practices, abuse of market power, restrictive agreements, and advising on significant merger control filings for both national and international companies.
