Quito, Ecuador \u2013 May 12, 2026 \u2013<\/strong> BUSTAMANTE FABARA is pleased to announce its role as legal counsel to Comercializadora Ledesma & Ledesma Agrogruled S.A. (\u201cAgrogruled\u201d), an Ecuadorian agro-industrial company dedicated to the production, processing, packaging, distribution and commercialization of rice and rice-derivative products, in connection with an investment completed by Darby International Capital LLC (\u201cDarby\u201d).<\/p>

The transaction, completed on April 27, 2026, reflects Darby\u2019s commitment to supporting growth-oriented companies operating in stable, high-demand industries. Agrogruled has built a strong market position in Ecuador by providing essential food products that meet consistent daily consumer demand across the country and other markets.<\/p>

The financing provided by Darby is primarily intended to strengthen Agrogruled\u2019s balance sheet and provide the necessary working capital to support its ongoing operations and next phase of expansion. Through long-term debt, Agrogruled will be better positioned to scale its production, expand its reach to retailers and consumers, and consolidate its position in Ecuador\u2019s agro-industrial sector.<\/p>

49 Capital LLC, a financial advisory firm focused on capital transactions within the food systems sector in Latin America, participated in the transaction. Under the leadership of \u00d3scar Luzuriaga, the firm supported the structuring and closing of the financing, as well as the coordination of the process with the different stakeholders involved.<\/p>
