Xavier Maldonado, is a senior associate at the prestigious national firm Bustamante fabara, forming part of the litigation and labor law advisory team; providing additional support to work teams related to criminal law and compliance, hydrocarbon sector and regulatory. Prior to joining Bustamante Fabara team, Xavier worked as a lawyer specializing in the areas of labor, criminal and procedural law in general, collaborating with local and international law firms; adding to his experience the performance of the position of Labor Inspector in the Regional Directorate of Labor and Public Service of Guayaquil, agency attached to the Ministry of Labor of Ecuador, which allowed him to develop skills in the resolution of labor disputes; In addition to this, the work of control of labor obligations carried out to employers and workers present in Ecuadorian territory.
He studied law at the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil (ECUADOR), in 2016 he obtained his law degree. Additionally, he has a Specialization in Economic & Corporate Law, awarded by the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil (2016). Actually he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Labor Law at Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes, with a focus on the area of occupational risks and occupational health and safety.
