New resolution issued by the Superintendency of Personal Data Protection: Regulation for the Application of the Methodology for Calculating Fines under the Administrative Sanctions Regime of the Superintendency of Personal Data Protection

The Superintendency of Personal Data Protection (SPDP) has issued the Regulation for the Application of the Methodology for Calculating Fines under the Administrative Sanctions Regime, along with the official models for calculating the amount of administrative fines.

This resolution strengthens the technical and operational implementation of the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP) and its General Regulations (RLOPDP), providing clear guidelines for calculating fines imposed by the SPDP for minor and serious violations established in the law.

At BUSTAMANTE FABARA, we will continue to share specialized analyses on the practical application of these regulatory instruments and their implications for the various regulated sectors.
