About Patricio Santos – Director, Banking and Finance Practice (Quito)
With over two decades of experience in the public and private financial sectors, Patricio has participated in complex local and cross-border financing transactions, including green, social, and sustainable bond issuances, cross-border securitizations of mortgages portfolios, direct-payment rights and merchant-voucher receivables, as well as various types of secured and unsecured loans, among others. He has advised local and foreign entities, multilateral organizations, financiers, and debtors on financing operations, contractual, corporate, securities market, and compliance matters. He also regularly provides advice to Fintech companies on their establishment, qualification, and operations in Ecuador.
About Fernanda Palacios – Director, Litigation Practice (Quito)
With 14 years of experience in areas such as corporate, commercial, fiduciary, litigation, and dispute resolution in civil and contentious-administrative matters, Fernanda stands out for her responsibility as a driver of efficient performance. Her ability to make timely decisions has optimized conflict resolution processes, demonstrating a high level of quality in service and ensuring the achievement of proposed goals.
